Музей-заповедник «Гатчина» примет участие в XII Фестивале «Детские дни в Петербурге», который стартует 29 октября. Тема игры-путешествия в 2016 году — «Со временем». Впервые в основной программе — Приоратский дворец, где школьники 12-13 лет смогут отправиться в самостоятельное «путешествие вглубь веков»: от времени строительства дворца в царствование Павла I — к детству Павла Петровича, от игр юного наследника престола — к старейшему из рыцарских орденов средневековой Европы.
В Гатчинском дворце в дни фестиваля — программа «Время прячется в часах»: всё о дворцовых часах и экскурсия на Часовую башню (возраст участников: 8-11 лет).
Даты проведения фестиваля: 29 октября — 8 ноября, 12-13 ноября, 19-20 ноября.
